I guess I should start by introducing myself! My name is Peyton. I am a 27 year old from Houston, TX currently living in Los Angeles, California. I am an actor. I am a writer. I am an artist. I am a part time barista. I am a Christian. I am a reader. I am a frequenter of the local bars (don’t tell my mom). I am a homebody. Mostly, I am lost.

Excuse the cliche, but it is all true. The past few years, since graduating college, honestly, I have struggled with immense feelings of confusion, isolation, and desperation to find my path. I have watched so many of my friends stumble upon their dream lives (from my perspective), and I have felt jealous and frustrated that I haven’t found that feeling for myself yet.

Don’t be fooled — I still haven’t found it. My purpose, my dream, etc. etc. But I have found friendship, and love, and joy, and many many happy days during my search. That is what this blog is about. It is about my happy days, my tragic days, my continuing search for a life that means something, but mostly it is about the community that I find along the way. And I hope and pray you might want to be a part of it :)
